For the past two years Cheryl Bachelder has been working with foodservice industry leaders to advance the business case for promoting women executives to senior management roles.  In a partnership between the Women’s Foodservice Forum, a 2000 plus member organization focused on developing female leadership talent,  and the Gallup Organization, the leader in data-based performance measures, Cheryl has developed groundbreaking learning on how to create a workplace where women thrive.  Her work has been presented at numerous industry conventions and was published in QSR magazine in August 2005.

Prior to this work, Cheryl was President and Chief concept officer of KFC Corporation, located in Louisville, Kentucky, from 2000-2003.  She served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Domino’s Pizza from 1995-2000.  Her passion for quality, innovation, and developing talent has helped revitalize brands in previous positions with RJR Nabisco, Gillette, and Procter & Gamble.  She is perhaps best known for leading innovation with the launch of LifeSavers GummiSavers, the first nationally branded gummi candy, and the creation of the Domino’s HeatWave delivery bag, a patented system for keeping pizzas hotter than the competition.

Cheryl’s leadership style is characterized by inspirational vision, listening and consensus-building skills, high standards, and personal integrity.  Her favorite role today is to mentor up-and-coming young female talent in the foodservice industry.  Cheryl holds both a BS and MBA from Indiana University with concentrations in marketing and finance.
